if you place a chest next to another one, it won't play the animation. also, breaking a chest while it is playing it's close animation, then placing another chest in the same spot, will forever play the last frame it was on.

afaik the instant health/damage posion dosen't have an effect texture but the game tries to load it anyways. but when using the /effect command to give yourself instant health or instant damage, it shows this for a split second

Same issue happens to me too, copied from my console

It's not a duplicate.

I can play the game just fine with no glitches, it is only when I try to open the language selection screen (from main menu, or within a loaded world) that it immediately hard crashes.

This happens to me also, but only when I click the language icon.

This generates a 'hs_err_PID.log' in .minecraft btw

Some of the other subtitles I've already added in those 2 files are actually working. Fire crackling, zombie sounds, etc.

The ones that appear to not work in that pack are the ones that I had created different or new subtitle labels for (they are then overriden by the default subtitle labels which I assume still exist in the 1.9.4 default resource pack, hence my conclusion that you cannot create new subtitles if they deviate from the default subtitle naming scheme)

I would love to know how you are making it work! I added the sounds.json that I use in my resource pack. It has the complete listing of sounds, as well as the new subtitles.

You can search for these terms in the file :

replace: true for the wood/iron door closing/opening

Also, the player attack subtitles are added.

Sorry for the slow updates.. My internet is experiencing severe issues.

Also,
I forgot to include :

It seems you cannot add subtitles for events that already have no subtitle.

I tried to add these for example : subtitles.player.attack.etc
And there continues to be no subtitle indicator in-game of attacks.
