I just wanted to chime in again to confirm this is still an active issue and has reached a point to where the game is pretty much unplayable. It is no longer possible to create a new world. My son has since quit using his Switch to play Minecraft and instead uses his Xbox, which doesn't experience the same issue. I have tried to delete some of the downloads to free up space, which allows the game to be played for a short time, but the storage space quickly fills back up and causes the issue to arise again. Even getting into the storage settings to delete items has become difficult due to the lag encountered when doing so. Please, someone help!
