I am having this problem on Windows 7 Home premium 64bit and have been having it over a couple versions including a snapshot and two full versions. By the way where is the only non-duplicate of this issue?
Confirmed. This occurs even in a "fresh" installation. There is also no new logs (logs/latest.log) folder as indicated by Dinnerbone (https://twitter.com/Dinnerbone/status/382170674544254976)
My server is on CentOS so I don't believe this is OS dependent.
@Anon, I double posted this issue somehow. The first one is 29451. Can you please close either one?
Whoops. Please close this. I somehow managed to double post this issue.
Spams the crap out of the console. Tis annoying.

Max, this was fixed in Pre-Release 1.5.
Still not working in 13w10b.
Reproducible in 13w10a.
Still busted in 13w09c.
Still exists in 13w09b.
So you are telling me it doesn't matter what c= is then? It will always output the signal strength based on players located? Then what is with -1 as stated in the wiki?
Number of players. If negative, uses players from the end of the list first.
Oh hmm. I didn't have the problem in 13w02 so I didn't even bother to check there 🙂

Destroy the existing dropper and try again. https://twitter.com/Dinnerbone/status/291944922054012930
So, I'm essentially screwed then.
Glad to know I am not the only one in this boat since I reported MC-1160 back in 2012. Yikes!
