Unfortunately it isn't the case and might be a bug. My only hope is that it wasn't in the patch notes, meaning they didn't see the bug.

NOT TO FEAR- IF YOU SHUT THE ADDONS OFF YOUR WORLD YOU CAN STILL EARN TROPHIES UNTIL THE BUG IS FIXED- it's different warning message from Creatuve mode
