I purposely dropped my netherite pickaxe to experience for myself seeing it float and remain unscathed from the lava for it to burn to a crisp and disappear to my surprise. I was really confused and later tried netherite ingots for the same results to occur. Unless I'm mistakened, this shouldnt happen. (On Xbox One, In a realm)
