I’ve died due to this bug today in a world I’ve played for 140+ hours and I’ve lost 3 hours of progress (fortunately I back up, and I’ve battled two ender dragons, harvested 2 wither skeleton skulls, 11 ghast tears, 10 stacks of sand and other resources. Now they’re all gone)
i recently tested out and it does not happen in 1.12.2
Hopefull this is temporary and the developers will fix this soon because manually turing on V-sync after launching the game every time is really annoying
The bug does not show up on every device. I tried to reproduce it on my laptop but it did not show up. I will try to record a video later

i spawned some guardians and changed my game mode after slipping an invisibility potion but they still shot lasers at me
Happened to me too, I lost 3 hours of progress today due to this bug (feel into the end void, battled 2 ender dragons and harvested resources such as 11 ghasts tears, 2 wither skeleton skulls and 10 stacks of sand after my last backup)
