This is because of another bug which the minecart turns the opposite direction to which it was coming in from.

Looks like it has been discontinued probably due to a lack of users.
It’s most likely your browser is blocking some feature that stops the page from loading e.g javascript.
Seems that this is a driver problem, try getting older or newer ones.
This is because your game window is smaller; 3x and 4x would be too big of GUI scale options so they’re disabled. If you were playing on 4k you would get 5x, 6x, 7x and 8x options, LTDR: this is a feature.
This is a intended mechanic called Quasi Connectivity.
