I play on my laptop (Windows 11).  I can no longer reach the d-pad with my thumbs.  It's very big now and too far to the right.  I have to use my index finger now, which makes it very awkward because I can't hold onto the back of the monitor-part of my laptop to steady my hand.  I just have to awkwardly hold my hand to the screen.  It makes moving super, super hard.  And it makes my wrist and hand get very sore, very fast because that kind of angle is a carpel-tunnel-causing angle.  Quite literally (no exaggeration), it's causing physical problems on my body and a great deal of pain. —  In addition to this, controls aren't working correctly.  I had to re-learn how to walk and break/place blocks; but I'm still running into walls and accidenatally placing/breaking blocks that I didn't mean to place/break.  I'm not going to try swimming again because it's way too difficult and I have no idea how swimming is supposed to work anymore.
