MC-104989 Endermen teleporting from magma blocks not actually moving? (sorry, found this was duplicate just after I made it) Duplicate MC-82562 /tp <target player> @e breaks after a while Duplicate

...MC-103263. I... have got to be more careful knowing what I've actually clicked on.

Duplicated by MC-101725 and MC-104989 (my own bad on that one xD). Also, just found that endermen do not produce the teleporting sound effect when they appear to be teleporting away.

I don't think this is quite duplicated by the teleporting back bug, this is just about them teleporting on to them from something else if I'm not mistaken.

...I just duplicated this... whoops xD

Oh, and the [c=1] fix still works, so far at least.

If you used just /tp @e, it would work. The problem only arises when you use the [target player] argument.

You actually can teleport something to all entities...

That is the exact same problem, just a more specific case of it, yes. And again, I did test it in vanilla after encountering it with mods, and found it.

Using just /tp @e works perfectly fine, actually, it teleports me to every single entity in the world in some unknown order instantaneously; but that doesn't really help anything 😛

And yeah, it isn't the vanilla launcher, but it doesn't have any effect on vanilla MC, and the only effect it has on modded MC is modding it.

Confirmed in 1.8.7 on OS X Mavericks, with Java 8 update 51. This happens no matter what speed the minecart's traveling at.

Or use @p[type=Item]. Anyways, with @e[c=#] I'm pretty sure it selects the # oldest entities, and if the closest player happens to have also been the first player, then they were also the first entity.

What about when you actually do want to kill everything, then? 😛

You could use /scoreboard players test FakeGuy <objective> <min> [max].

This is not so much a bug as just counting differently. To my knowledge this is neither unintentional nor a problem, and your report constitutes more of a suggestion than an actual bug report. And mind how much it would mess up all existing uses of /effect in command blocks.
