It's good for getting some air underwater.
On 1.8 and 1.8.3 that happens again, what i found that u can eat food when you ain't looking at the block (When no black stroke around block) then u can eat it but when you look at block you cant eat food :/ Animation starts and go forever. The point where you looking matter when u start to right click when animation goes that doesn't matter where u look...
