Its an issue with Switch and Xbox players as well. We've tested it out and the max they can download at a time is 4-5 packs without crashing and getting an "Error while downloading packs screen."
It is an issue up to the latest version, however, the issue is only affecting Console players when they go to download resource packs that have multiple different packs in them (more than 4). I'm going to move this to the bedrock bug report as it is affecting realms and worlds with marketplace packs as well. It affects them if they have texture packs on (or add-ons with resource packs.)
Prior made worlds and newly made worlds that have textures to download are affected by the issue.
It's been affecting both our addon server and our vanilla server
For us, the issue is we don't use Bedrocktogether, but a bot that we've made that allows them to join. PlayStation players were able to join just fine, but Switch and XBOX players crash while loading in, despite there not being any textures or mods.
This is also the same on servers as well, with the same issues arising and doing everything to try and fix the issue, such as restarting the device, restarting the internet connection, and even uninstalling and reinstalling the game does not work.
If there is anyone else with this issue and was able to get it fixed, can you let me know? The behavior packs were placed on top of everything else.
I've been having issues too, and it's also several members of my community who are having issues with joining as well. Past few days were really bad as well, as they couldn't even join or when they did it reset all their progress. For a bit it didn't do that but then earlier today it just started randomly, especially towards our new players. We have them added on the realm as well, and don't know if it's due to an update or not.
No, my brother and I are at the same house, I can join on PC and Mobile just fine, but when he tries to join via console and has to download the packs, he crashes. This is multiple players having the same issue.
Edit: Fixed typos.
