I saw that this issue has been marked as resolved, fixed in a future release. Given that there are now reports of items being lost (as opposed to just being hidden) I find this very concerning. Can someone explain what this change in status means?

This happens to me all the time in 0.12.3 on my HTC Nexus 9, Android 5.1.1. @unknown do you know if these invisible stacks can corrupt memory? From what I've seen when examining my level, the inventory is stored using NBT format and the invisible stacks look just like any of the others (no sign of corruption).

@unknown, I've been able to get at stuff using the anvil in 0.12.3. However, someone I know has had issues as of 0.13 where picked-up stuff would truly disappear (instead of "overflowing").

Had a minecart disappear after trying to ride it in 0.12.2 beta from the Play Store on my Nexus 9. My workaround still works for me. I'm not sure if the flying glitch still happens.

I too would have liked to see bugged chests and spawners fixed as part of the bug fix. Does anyone have any technical information about what's wrong with the bugged blocks (especially the chests). If I had that info, I'd be tempted try to use the leveldb fork on GitHub to write a tool to fix my world.

I just found my first dungeon and the chests are invisible. I'm very disappointed. It wouldn't so bad except according to Katt, the chests won't be fixed even if the code is. Couldn't some sort of validation be implemented (maybe right after installing an update) to fix up glitched blocks? Maybe I'll create a feature request...

I've had the minecart problem while in creative mode (I don't have minecarts or track in any of my survival games since I'm a newbie). I am playing on an HTC Nexus 9 running Android 5.1.1. I am playing 0.12.1 alpha from the Play Store. If I press and hold the button I am able to ride the minecart as expected. If I just tap the button, I "teleport" to where the minecart is and then the minecart is gone. If I was flying and I time it correctly, then if I press the jump button right after trying to ride, I can fly upwards as long as I hold the jump button.
