[MCPE-10490] The interaction button can interact with entities through the button.

When pressing the interaction button, it can injure mobs, or any entity. Pressing the button white it is over a minecart breaks the minecart. This also works for sheep and snow golems. It can injure the sheep when the button it pressed. If you want milk from a cow, it hurts them.

I've had the minecart problem while in creative mode (I don't have minecarts or track in any of my survival games since I'm a newbie). I am playing on an HTC Nexus 9 running Android 5.1.1. I am playing 0.12.1 alpha from the Play Store. If I press and hold the button I am able to ride the minecart as expected. If I just tap the button, I "teleport" to where the minecart is and then the minecart is gone. If I was flying and I time it correctly, then if I press the jump button right after trying to ride, I can fly upwards as long as I hold the jump button.

Had a minecart disappear after trying to ride it in 0.12.2 beta from the Play Store on my Nexus 9. My workaround still works for me. I'm not sure if the flying glitch still happens.

It still happens in MPCE 0.12.3, although there is some improvement.

It seems that the length of time that I hold down the button to shear, milk, or ride a mine cart (in creative) determines whether or not the action works without injuring the object. If I just tap, then I (for example) get wool and injure the sheep. If I press and hold for a fraction of a second, then I get wool without injuring the sheep. But if I press and hold for too long, then I get wool without injuring the sheep, followed by an immediate strike to the sheep that hurts it.
