I have a backup of the broken world if you need to inspect it.
I lost about a month of work. I took two weeks vacation to work on my projects. I’m not saying that to make anyone feel bad. I just want to impart, this was my vacation. My Nether Hub. My Trading Halls. Gone. I couldn’t get the vacation I wanted due to circumstances. Now, what I built is all erased. I’ll set a script to back up more frequently in the future. Please fix whatever this was. That’s all I ask. I thank you all, I get so much joy out of Minecraft. Please, maybe, consider a backup function to the game. If I just have to hit a backup button every time I start playing and I’m good, I’d do it every time.
I had to revert and lose all my changes. I did the server and client hotfixes. No villagers spawned in any new villages. My suspicion is that my player data was saved on the world and was corrupted. I don’t know how that would effect newly generated villages. I get new cows, new pigs, ect… I’ve lost soooo much progress. At least now I have a plan to do things better and more efficiently.
*and it can’t be undone. I have hundreds of hours of work to redo if it can’t be reversed. I hope this is something to do with your account, and not the game itself. The Ender Chest makes it feel like it’s an account thing.
I’m worried that because I saved this can’t be undone.
My trading hall/iron farm wasn’t perfect, but it worked when there were villagers actually in there.
I’ve been trying for hours… this isn’t a glitch.
