I'm having a similar problem yours seems to happen on the same wifi network because you're playing with your child. My friends who own a Nintendo Switch can't connect to my world on Windows 10 edition even though it worked fine like a week ago, and this is only affecting those switch players because anyone else can join. It loads for a long time, and then it times out. It might be on the switch side of things but I'm glad im not the only one who has this issue rn.
