Update. This may be a server issue. We saw the same behavior for a few days and then we finally saw new unemployed villagers adopt professions. We’ve been interacting with villagers a lot so I’m sure this wasn’t our imagination. I think it depends on which server we happen to connect to.
I’m seeing the same issue. I’m on Xbox one bedrock Ed. I had mined two bells to move them but once they were in my inventory they became stuck in an inventory slot. You cannot drop them or move to a different slot. I did not have an. Issue with this prior to the last hotfix 1.13.1
