I hope this will help, my bug is marked as duplicate of this bug. This bug occurs above 1.16 to this day and is not fixed. Game should communicate with TTS engine asynchronously. For now minecraft waits for SAPI5 response until TTS speaks. For more help you can reach NvAcces, creators of NVDA. Chat narration is not affected, maybe this mode communicates differently than others.
Steps to reproduce:
set narrator to “narrates all” or “narrates system” (narrates chat is excluded)
navigate around game interface, go from one screen to another
Guides how to achieve the bug:
use high quality TTS engines, such as Ivona
use old or uncommon TTS engines such as eSpeak
use windows 64 bits, not ARM
works with voices for SAPI5, bug will don’t appear using one core voices.
