My system does meet the requirements though, I checked when I bought the game on my previous laptop and again when I bought this laptop. The requirements haven't changed (AFAIW) yet all of a sudden I am having issues.
"Your computer does not meet the minimum system requirements to run Minecraft."
But it does meet the requirements, I have been playing non-modded and modded java minecraft on this laptop for years with no issue until the latest update, the requirements to run haven't changed, so why is that the supposed problem?
forcing a crash comes up with:
"The game crashed whilst manually triggered debug crash
Error: java.lang.Throwable: Manually triggered debug crash exit code:-1"
I tried force crashing after it froze and it wouldn't crash, same with while it was flashing.

We tried a full driver reinstall with DDU to check if it was a display driver issue
Added video, Apologies for bad camera angle etc. But I don't know if I have recording software built into the laptop
I am also not planning on modding 1.21 at all if that is a question
1.21 is vanilla.
If my laptop doesn't meet the requirements, then why was it not picked up by the first mod greymagic? Why did it work on this laptop for years? Also why did it start freezing/flashing with the update and not before? 1.21 must have changed minimum specs without us being made aware. Oh well, My pc still has minecraft forge 1.12 working fine and I have the Nintendo Switch for bedrock.
