Can confirm, the player spawns in a deep cold ocean with no land anywhere nearby (12 chunks).
Although this has been marked as works as intended, I'd still like if this was fixed or somehow tweaked.
Have you tried checking if your driver does actually support the current minimum version of OpenGL?
I think this actually looks good! It looks more rain and fog- like and less like a continuous stream of water
This is caused by OptiFine, turning off render regions should fix this.
Can confirm. This is a big issue in my opinion.

These are called chunk borders, they likely occurred because you opened the world in a previous or modded version of the game.
This is intended. Stone pressure plates only can be triggered by mobs.
Can confirm.
Can not confirm, candle drops for me.
There is no thunderstorm going on, so (I am pretty certain) channeling is not supposed to work.
Can not confirm in Minecraft 1.17.0, tried with all logs.

Disable OptiFine if you have that enabled, and please always include a screenshot of your F3/Debug-menu.
And a can't find a way to delete it, or flag it as duplicate. Again, sorry!
Sorry! It didn't give a confirmation when I pressed the button so I pressed it again
I'm certain this is how this is intended to work, unless you mean they don't get enabled on LAN-worlds.
You can press the F2 button to take a screenshot. Screenshots are located in the Minecraft folder (%appdata% in windows search, go to minecraft, screenshots)
I have been looking for a while now and have not found anything, so I would say it is fixed
