It's been almost a year since my first comment (above) and unfortunately this report is still unresolved. It may be that the creator has moved on to other things, or this is a bug that cannot be resolved. Whatever the reason, if this will not be addressed then perhaps it would be a good idea to inform those who have purchased the pack (and those who may purchase it in the future with the holiday season around the corner) about this issue. It is a shame to purchase such a beautifully put together world that has no villagers, no passive mobs, empty chests and missing discs. Then again, if someone wants a beautiful snowy apocalyptic world with nothing but hostile mobs, this may be the pack for them.

I am having the same problem on my iPad since I purchased the pack a year ago. I've tried the world several times but the emptiness (absolutely no passive mobs ... no villagers, no animals) and the constantly empty chests make it a beautiful but boring world. Hopefully this will be fixed soon as it seems to be one of their main packs and I'm feeling as though I did not receive what I paid for.
I have had the same situation and tried similar approaches but the shipping container stops working every time.
I am having the same issue using an iPad (lots of storage space still). Since the recent update none of my texture packs or add-ons work. When trying to open an existing world or new world the message "Error! There was a problem loading pack one of your packs."
