My bad, the "bug" seems to be a side effect of some pack I didn't know about. Sorry.

That's because of some add-on you have installed. In most cases, people who get this issue are using the Addon "Dark Reader". Try disabling that, close the tab, restart your browser and you should be good. Of course, Mojang should allow such an Addon anyway, but for now, you'll have to do that.
