Is this ever going to be fixed? I'd actually like to play the game again at some point....

Same for me. I play in third or I can't play at all. 

I'm the same. I keep opening the game to see if anything has changed and keep being disappointed.

I'm giving it until the end of the month then I'm uninstalling the game and will be contacting Google to see if I can get a refund. Game is unplayable and it doesn't seem like anything is being done to fix it.

Yeah it isn't lag, it's a block selection issue.

It would be nice if it was ever addressed. I'm partially sighted and can only play in third person. Means I can't play the game at all right now because I can't build or mine.
