Some good news. Today, despite the Realms being down most of the past two days, I managed to get some play time on Realms, and I was overjoyed when I could pillar up. No issues! I hope they fixed it for good. Whatever is wrong with Realms, I hope they do not roll back to the broken version! Again....
This bug is still with us. I opened my normal world on Realms and made video clips from exactly the same spot showing the difference. You cannot pillar up more than five block without being pushed off!
This is a Realms only thing. I can pillar up fine in a normal world created on my PC.
Realms only: The character falls into the block while towering up in a restricted area. Ifnthe towering up happens unrestricted (open on the sides) the character os pushed off the tower after 3 to 5 blocks up. (Reported as a separate bug)
The issue is even worse now! You get pushed off automatically while trying to pillar up. This is VERY VERY annoying!!!!
Suffocation seems not to be resolved. Remnants still apparent from the attached video. I suffocated by falling into a block while towering up. It normally happens when towering up while restricted by side blocks where one cannot fall down. So you fall into the block you are standing on and suffocate. You need to jump to get out.
The pillaring up is better on the video. However (see attachment) the build is jittery and reminiscent of the earlier suffocation problem. The character still falls down, only at higher build.
Edit: I still fall down after 5 blocks pillaring in most cases. The character is just pushed off. On normal worlds (not a Realm world) the pillaring works without any issues.
I have the same problem. I threw the trident as the owner. My partner also threw a trident. Whenever either of us play, the orbs are not coming. Sometimes when shift crouching we see a few XP coming in. Removing and replacing the items in the inventory slots seem to help getting them mended a bit. Otherwise nothing happens. It is related to the Piglin gold farm.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Pillaring up against walls at different places
2. Pillaring up on new realm (against wall or in a restricted hole.
3. Cornering myself and pillaring up
Observed Results:
If a pillar is built as a single standing entity, the player is pushed off and falls to the ground. It the pillaring is done in a corner, in a single block hole or against a wall, the player glitches into the placed block and suffocation effect takes. Player has to jump to get on top again. This happens to all Realms and all players on my Realm
I believe this is linked to
Expected Results:
Pillaring up against walls or restricted spaces without glitching into block below and suffocating.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Pillar up in different areas in same world
2. Create new world (realm) and trying to pillar up
3. Asking my friends on the realm to pillar up and check on their side if the same happens
Observed Results:
As soon as the pillar reaches 4 to 5 blocks, the player is pushed off and falls to ground.
Expected Results:
On normal single player worlds, the pillaring works normal. I can pillar up stacks of blocks without falling off. This worked in past realms, but the issue started with 1.17.
Close the issue please.
Not anymore thank you. Everything is working normally.
Yes. In version 1.17.2 especially in the Nether Fortress. When I use my bow to shoot blazes or rapidly attack them with my sword, the action does not happen at all or os delayed, often leading to me taking several hits. Alsonhappens when trying to take shots at Ghasts with my bow. It draws back but does not release, only to lag and release later. There is also some mining lag in the Nether when using rapid mining tools.
I have the same issues. My villagers disappeared. They still get angry when I sleep in their beds. Even though they not there.
This issue was fixed in a previous version (I think 15.x). The illumination did not carry over the chunk borders. Seems like the bug is back
Thank you. It is fixed. You may close the ticket. Yay!!!
