I have a similar issue with slimes not spawning in slime chunks.  Before the 1.7 update, slimes were spawning in my slime chunk, but after 1.7 slimes no longer spawning in my slime chunk.  I think that the slime chunk may have been moved or regenerateed randomly.

I have a similar issue with mcpe iOS.  In 1.6, my slime farm was spawning slimes.  After the 1.7 update slimes are no longer spawning in my slime chunk
