Ok I seem to have fixed this. I changed my keyboard from the default Samsung keyboard to Gboard, then set the physical keyboard language in Settings to "US English (QWERTY)" and I can now jump after typing.

On a Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra running Android 13.

Also having this issue in the latest version on my Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra + Logitech keyboard via either Bluetooth or USB dongle.
