I was having the same exect issue with AMDGPU, which is using Mesa 25.0.0-dev.

I switched to Kisek PPA, which provides Mesa 25.1.7 and everything works fine.

Of course, I had to get rid of AMDGPU for good. Otherwise the AMD drivers would lock and use only version 25.0.0-dev.

As I see it, then, the problem can be considered as solved as long as the AMDGPU drivers are not use (for the moment, I don’t know if in the future they’ll update and switch to version 25.1.0-dev or something like that).

Thanks for your reply. I’m switching to the other issue to give more details on the resolution.

As a sidenote, with the very same syste set-up, if I fire the 1.21.5 version of Minecraft it works perfectly.
