I reverted to an older version of the save file and tried loading it again and everything was fine. It must’ve got corrupted somehow.

This issue is on iPad 6th Generation. It used to also be on iPhone XS Max but with the latest patch it only happens sometimes now on the XS Max. It was working fine on all devices up until one of the earlier updates.
