Is this still a concern in the current Minecraft version 14w25a/b / Launcher version 1.4.5 or later? If so, please update the affected versions in order to best aid Mojang ensuring bugs are still valid in the latest releases / pre-releases.
Update:
We made a mistake,
Stairs weren't rotated when held in your hand.
Now, as of 14w25a, they are.
Can someone Please Mark this as 'Works as Intended'?
I found a different way to reproduce it.
See Steps To Reproduce: in MC-56466
(Yes it has been fixed. But the steps work 🙂)
@FVbico
I agree.
A good way to Reduce Lag:
Load Minecraft, Select and Edit The Profile You were Using. Check JVM Arguments and Type in:
-Xmx512m
.
Using 1G of ram if you have a very limited computer {4 GB of ram, for example} can cause you to lag a bit. Minecraft uses many resources, and as such can lag if you use to much Memory
Please Update the Environment to show what OS, Processor, Java version, etc. to help us figure out the issue.
Please force a crash by pressing F3 + C for 10 seconds while in-game and attach the crash report
(minecraft/crash-reports/crash-<DATE>-client.txt)
here.
@Blah
Confirmed
Thnx for clearing it up 🙂
Please, Don't tell someone to fix a bug, this is for reporting bugs only. Below are requirements in creating a bug:
List specific versions and enviroments (Like the Operating System and Java Version)
Tell a summary, to basically show what the bug is doing.
Tell a brief but detailed description, including a more descriptive paragraph of the bug, and how to activate it.
Use the recommended description format: http://i.imgur.com/A6NC6.png
Use up to 5 labels, to ensure a mod or developer with spot your bug while searching for issues
Tell what gamemode you were using (Survival, Creative, Adventure, Spectator, or Hardcore mode)
Finally, Crashes are most of the time your fault. Try to update your graphics card or reduce lag.
Crashes cant be controlled, they happen.
Try the Mojang Support Center for help
if you cannot find your issue, update your graphic card driver

Agreed. Wait until the full update comes out to update a world.
If you should, create a new folder to store snapshot-testing worlds in.
IF you forgot to backup, You can restore to an older version.
Confirmed fixed as well
