I have also been having this issue in my realm. There is a lag in it but it usually doesn't do that. I have been having this issue for months now but to no solution.

I have found that this issue is also happening with books and quills deleting the first 5 pages of text. As of now, I can't type anything in signs without it deleting it so it seems the issue has worsened because as before adding a period would sometimes fix it.
