This issue should NOT ever be closed until we can connect to private servers on ALL devices that claim to run "Bedrock" Edition. There are glitches you can do to make this work but its a real hassle. But, because you can exploit a glitch to make this work, i know it works. All we now need is the convenient menu options. Once we have this option, then we can advertise "Cross-platform" and not be lying. Maybe im just angered because of the fact that I just yesterday bought 2 more full price versions of Minecraft for 2 kids and a full bedrock Minecraft for my PC. Only to find out that....Nope, cant play together.

This is a HUGE issue actually. This isnt specific to iOS. The Bedrock edition, as i understand it, was made to connect all the various platforms that you can play Minecraft on. Something as simple as not having "add a server" in Xbox for example is just... neglect. There are so many services out there that advertise private servers for bedrock edition. Problem is is when you go to invite someone or add a server from xbox - you cant. Cross-platform is more of a challenge than it is fun. Im not sure what Minecraft looks like on iOS or Nintendo Switch but if its anything like the Xbox version - then I can assume you guys are having the same frustrations as me. I set out yesterday to start a private server for me and my 3 kids to play on. Im on PC, they have Xboxs. But from xbox, you cant add a private server. So.... jokes on me. I thought cross-platform was actually cross-platform. Im not sure what exactly we are calling cross-platform.
