Xbox Bedrock: Second player joining world or Realm spawns at world spawn with empty inventory

When playing multiplayer splitcreen on Xbox Bedrock (both Realms and local downloaded worlds), the second player to join consistently spawns at world spawn with an empty inventory and hotbar. The issue affects whichever player joins second — it is not account-specific.
100% reproducible. Happens every time.
Occurs on Realms and on local downloaded worlds (not Realm-specific).
Happens regardless of which account joins first.
Restarting Minecraft, restarting the Xbox, downloading/re-uploading the Realm, and playing offline first do not resolve the issue.
Inventory data is not deleted — it fails to attach while two players are present.
