Did use the search function, but apparently I'm a bad searcher. MC-5477 is 100% correct. The dye was given with a too high id. Did not throw the bonemeal away since I thought it had been converted to proper regular bonemeal. Will now incinerate all bonemeal. Thanks though, and sorry for taking up your time.
