I have the same issue the only time it goes away is when we are on the same network, I would like to be able to play without having to LAN Party
I am also having this problem the only way around it is to go over and play at my friends house. LAN parties are fun but I would like to not have to move my PS4 every day I want to play.
Update: Both PS4's have type 2 NAT, we both have accounts linked to Microsoft accounts, we can play when both on the same Wifi or Hardwired to the same router but if we run one on an extended network or a completely different network it does not work we only receive the unable to connect to world.
