I have this same issue. I am constantly getting stuck in boats and this used to happen a ton in 1.14 and 1.13
I have run into this issue as well. I don't think it's a bug, but it always happened for me when one of my friends was in the nether, anywhere in the nether. When I was alone in the nether, a ton of zombie pigmen spawned, but right when one of them entered the nether (and their portals were even on the roof where nothing else was spawning) it seemingly stopped my farm from spawning zombie pigmen.
This also happened when one got hit with a ghast. He went flying upwards and never came down.
Still an issue in Snapshot 20w13a. banners dropped by captains are different than ones made or taken from outposts.
This also happens on land too.
Same happened to me recently, but with Villagers. Both of my villagers seemed to vanish out of nowhere, and I feel like this is the reason for it.
Extra information: They were two adult hoglins, nothing was modified on any of them, just naturally spawned hogs sent to the overworld. Not sure if this would play out different in another dimension.
it was fixed after destroying many blocks below the bed.
Im on 1.18 and this problem is still occuring for me and I have not found a fix yet, and cannot play on my realm but my brother on the same router and wifi can.
