Thank you for clearing that up.
Seems I can get refund until 15 days, so I have plenty of time left.
Just one more question, if I may.
What's your release cycle?
I mean, I can see that my report has been flagged as duplicate and the original says it's been fixed.
When would that fix be visible on my end?
Thing is, I don't want to set false expectations to my kid again, so I want to try alone before I tell him it's fixed.
Thank you!
Hi violine1101,
in that case, a thank you is in order, much appreciated.
Where is the official support?
I paid, so we have a standing legal agreement with MOJANG.
I am happy to bang on their desk instead.
Thing is, I am seeing a huge MOJANG logo on top.
Thank you and I wish you all a Happy Easter!
Hi Bemoty,
thanks for chipping in.
I don't have Avast and I don't have McAfee or Outpost Security.
I do have Outpost Firewall - I wonder.
I for one, am not going to expose my PC to the internet without a firewall, that's for sure.
Asking that is generally equivalent of saying "f*** **f, it's your problem, not mine".
Minecraft is a Java-based app and no other Java-based tool or game is crashing here (I do have 4-5 of those).
So, it must be Minecraft-specific; something weird that an overly sensitive antivirus or a firewall would pick up.
I know it's very convenient to point fingers, so let me ask this:
What is the issue here?
What is this "failed to create a child event loop" in io.netty.util.concurrent.MultithreadEventExecutorGroup.<init>?
If you know what it is, you can most certainly fix it for good.
So what is it?
Is it that you don't know or you do know but you don't want to or don't know how to fix it? ('you' is a collective you as in devs/community, however this mess works.)
Is there any build or version of Minecraft that I could use?
I went back a few, they all crash.
The timestamp on that report you linked is from 2013⚠️ .
Thank you!
