I have had this same issue on PE for quite some time.  Both in naturally occurring villages and in ones I created by curing Zombie Villagers & building houses.  I even built a “town” under a dome w/plenty of light, food, beds, doors, etc. etc. and all villagers eventually despawned.  Funny thing is that cats spawned naturally in the village I created, and are still there... but the villagers have all despawned.  It is very frustrating.

Is it possible to reopen this? I am still having this issue in PE survival. It happens in both naturally spawned villages as well as villages I create from scratch by curing zombie villagers. Thank you for your help.
