So I was having all the same issues after the recent update, then the hotfix fixed all the freezing and crashing on the switch in our realm so thank you!
But I am still having to login multiple times (everyday at least sometimes more frequently) and it never was an issue until the same recent update that caused other problems. This is happening to at least 2 other switch owners that I play with daily. Also when I do log in and the “Let’s Play” screen pops up, after closing it the main menu never returns and I’m left watching the nether full screen until I close the Minecraft app and reopen it on the switch.
