Apologies, I have found the issue. It’s a mapping mod overriding use of the locator bar for waypoints. Fixed.

This is a shot from myprimary world. I have three times done /gamerule locatorBar false.

Not for me. 3 different worlds now. Locator bar persists after doing game rule.

Problem resolved, issue is with Vanilla Tweaks Fast Leaves datapack. Removed datapack from world save file datapacks folder.

Same thing happening to me, but only on two older survival worlds. Doesn’t happen in creative worlds or two survival worlds created relatively recently. No mods installed, and I’ve removed the VanillaTweaks resource pack. Although I can still see it under “Advancements” but it’s not showing on the resource pack screen.

I am unable to find thread for MC-295857, it just links to all the other reports of this issue but not that one.
