Could you have accidentally pressed the F1 key? It hides most GUI elements like hotbar, and on screen GUI
(It doesn’t affect things like Esc menu or chat but could be a factor in the problem)

This isn’t a bug. The creaking isn’t getting killed by the warden. What has happened is that the warden has pushed the creaking far enough away from the creaking heart that it breaks.

You said:

creaking can be killed only by breaking the creaky part.

Which is true however the creaking also despwans if it is: daytime, or it goes out of the range of the creaking heart (32 blocks i think)

So this is intended behaviour. The warden isn’t dealing damage and “killing” the creaking, instead it is knocking it back until it is out of range and despawns.

I'm not getting the same issue with a vanillatweaks datapack:

However this isn't a bug for the minecraft bug tracker and this should be reported to the vanillatweaks team instead as there is nothing mojang can do about this issue. If some 3rd party addons to minecraft aren't working it's not mojang's business to fix it but the creator of the 3rd party addon; it only becomes mojang's buisness if their tools to make the 3rd party addons are broken. But anyway, as I stated above, it seems to have already been fixed by the vanillatweaks team. 🙂
