I'm having the same no sound at all and crashing issues. I can confirm this on a DELL laptop and DELL desktop both using Realtek Audio. DELL Command|Update is showing no updates for the sound drivers.
Lockup issues for me occur during Bedrock version loading. Stopping at 35% and 41%. If I make it past those, it seems the the game always comes up.
All sounds in Windows are not affected on either of these systems. I was watching the Microsoft event today 9/21/23 and playing Minecraft. 🙂
I'm having the some of the same issues on my two DELL machines with Realtek audio. Just no sound in Minecraft. The audio issue did not affect the rest of the OS.
