 I've been having this issue since 1.18. Sometimes going to app settings and hitting terminate will resolve the issue until you close the game and reopen it. That worked for a little while then that wouldn't even work anymore. I've tried logging out of my account and back in... doesn't fix it. I've also tried uninstalling the game and reinstalling it and that didn't fix the issue either. Then, all of a sudden, for a few days I wasn't having any issues with marketplace not wanting to load or my custom skin. Everything worked as it should. Then today, I opened the game and the same issue as before. So, I tried terminating the game and all related processes. Both my custom skin and marketplace loaded. Hopefully, this information will help. 

When I first started having the issue, I absolutely thought it was related to my laptop or battery. It was the first thing I looked into. My Surface Book is a 2-in-1 so the screen separates from the keyboard and can be used like a tablet. So, there are 2 batteries with mine and both are charged when plugged in. Even with both batteries fully charged I still have the keyboard issue. And yes, I double check every time to ensure the screen in firmly seated to the keyboard. Not that I ever use the tablet function of my laptop, which I do not.

I have not changed any hardware as this is a Surface Book, for all intents and purposes, is not upgradable so couldn't change any hardware even if I wanted to. I have not uninstalled/reinstalled the bedrock version of the game. Nothing about my laptop has been changed other than updating to the most certain version of the game. I have had issues with previous bedrock versions but thought then it was just a key sticking because my character would continue to move for several seconds (or longer) after releasing the button. The button, however, wasn't and isn't sticking. But it wasn't something that occurred with any great frequency, just off and on. However, with the 1.17 update, the keyboard now just stops working all together every time I try to play the game. I have become so frustrated with it that I have quit playing bedrock Minecraft all together.

I would absolutely agree that it was something else if other applications were affected by the keyboard issue. But I have no other issues with the keyboard. It only occurs when I am playing Minecraft Bedrock. I am having no issues typing this, I have no issues playing java, and I have no issues playing any other games. This only occurs when I am playing Minecraft Bedrock. So, I can say with absolute certainty that it only happens when playing Minecraft bedrock and it is not a keyboard issue. I am also not the only one who has just started having this issue as I have seen it being brought up in some of the discords.

I'm just now learning of this issue as I've not had any issues until recently. While playing my keyboard will all of a sudden either stop working or act like the key is stuck and my character keeps moving. I am a content creator on YT and it has just gotten so bad and to frustrating to play. To be fair, I really just thought it was my laptop causing the issue so am in the process of looking for proper gaming laptop. 

As I didn't see my particular brand shown in the added photos thought I would drop my computer specs here as well.

Amazon does not do beta releases. My guess is the wrong version was pushed to Amazon. 

I am having the same issue. I updated to the latest hotfix and now can't join any realms. Tell me "All Realms have been updated. You need to update your game to continue playing Realms." I am on version 1.14.21 which is the latest version of the game. I have tried force stopping the app and clearing the cache with no success. I have also tried hard resetting my kindle several times with no success. I have the Kindle Fire HD 8 6th Gen.
