I have managed to find a workaround for those who did not have the suggested workarounds work (for Windows 10/11). Uninstall the launcher and the installer, restart your PC, then reinstall both the installer and the launcher.

I have a similar issue, but there are no workarounds for mine. I have tried everything on the workarounds list and more, including restarting my computer, reinstalling the launcher, ending installation on Task Manager, etc.

Sorry about that, I was just wording it so that Mojang/Microsoft would be compelled to fix the copper bulb. The actual issue lies with the change of the delay from 1 game tick to instant, which has broken many of my contraptions that use odd-game tick delays
