That’s a very blinkered and an engineering level definition of a defect. A better description of a defect is “anything the customer doesn’t like”. Certainly the latter should make it to triage so non-engineers can consider it as it might have tangible consequences for the company’s finances.

It seems like the best way to encourage Mojang to address this might be to upvote this.

This is still a defect.

This has not been resolved, but at least we now know the correct title of the new defect report.
