Mine does this too. I decided that I would just use Steve or Alex cause they are originals. figured that would work, I mean they're what is the most basic of basic right?....Wrong! It always tells me I have to change my skin to a cross platform skin and it makes me change it. I cant keep the skin I already have equipped (even though its always Alex or Steve) and I have to choose the other skin in order for me to continue. Its dumb and I don't like that I have to change my skin every time I try to load up a world or join one, even if I'm offline or not logged in. Please fix this if you can Mojang.
THIS IS HAPPENING TO ME TOO!!! WHAT IS HAPPENING HERE?! Mine does the SAME EXACT thing yours does. Takes about 3 minutes with a black screen, then it finally loads a white screen and takes about 30 seconds to 1 min to load the title screen. It used to quit there but now I can attempt to load up a world but it kicks me out while loading. I just wanna play Minecraft on the go! Im just glad im not the only one with this issue. I hope they fix it in the next update, and I hope they update it soon cause its driving me nuts. Its been happening since the last recent bug fix came out. My mc used to kick me out while playing before the bug fix. Since that bug fix it has gotten worse and I cant even play it at all.

This has been a HUGE pain for me for the past many months. Each time we get a new update on the switch, I think it's gonna get fixed. But it doesn't. I just wanna be able to play Minecraft on my switch. I'm at the point where I don't even want online to work, I just want the game in general to work so that I can at least play it, even if it's only by myself. I haven't been able to play the game at all on my switch for idk how many months now, I lost count after 5. All I want is for them to just fix it so that us switch players can join in on the fun. Nevermind the new stuff, just make it so that we can play too cause this is getting ridiculous. Also, idk if its itst digital copies that are crashing, or if all copies are crashing. Mine is a digital copy just for reference. I really hope thia gets addressed and fixed soon.
