I am also having the same issue on my Xbox one S and I noticed that when I select on the world itself to play it I get the “failed to sync world data” error message and when I choose “retry” it shows up again. But when I choose the edit icon to edit the world, Minecraft crashes and when I reopen it the world turns into the string of random letters and numbers. I then have to reinstall Minecraft for the world to show up again but I still can’t play it.
Hello! Sorry for the very late response. I realized my pc was not plugged in causing it to lag. I had no more issues after keeping it plugged in.
Here is a video showing what is going on. As you can see, the gameplay is choppy and laggy. And on the top where it says "FPS" it is lower than 10.
This issue has been fixed for me on my Xbox One S after the 1.20.32 update. My world went from the error message of "Failed to sync world data" to back to normal.
