My problem is more specific since only certain objects in Item Frames causes me to lag . In my case it's cube-like objects . As I show in screenshots in 1.7.2 I don't have any FPS drop while looking at Frames that have Stone in them , but looking at same thing in 1.7.4 and latest snapshot , my FPS drops by half and yet stays pretty much same while not having cube-like objects in them .
I can have 50 of Item Frames filled with "flat" items in them and will have really small FPS drop in 1.7.4 and latest snapshot , but having them filled up with "cube" blocks , my FPS will drop to 1 .
At same time, playing in 1.7.2 and earlyer versions and having 50 Item Frames filled up with all kinds of items , my FPS won't drop that low .

If it's already resolved for next snapshot , then awesome 🙂
