Welp! I've got the runaround officially. I created a ticket with Mojang Support and was given the basic troubleshooting tips (reinstall, unplug device, etc) which I did for kicks and giggles. Didn't fix it. And I told them so. They told me to come back here and post a bug report. Back to square one. Just going to have to be patient at this point for myself and hope the squeaky wheel gets some grease. I would encourage everyone here to start squeaking at Mojang support and just know it's not going to get you fixed at this moment.

I am also experiencing this bug on ps4. I have been dealing with this bug for months now and just found this forum to post my trouble.

I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game and that didn't fix it.

I have a 62 MB game save and the autosave icon can be present forever or not at all and it will still get stuck when I save and exit.

I found that if I exit and saved frequently within just a few minutes, that with each consecutive save the time increased from a quick save of about a couple seconds to taking about 15 seconds. I closed the game and restarted and repeated this and it got it stuck within a couple saves.

My kids and I can't play together with this bug. It's literally stopped our playing Minecraft.
