I just noticed this today trying to use the “item/handheld“ model for an item in a resourcepack. All of them are upside down.
Funny thing is that the mace has this issue as well and it uses a different model, that being “handheld_mace“.
All “rods“ have the same issue as well while using “handheld_rod“.
Really anything with the base of “handheld“ has this issue.
Now that Im looking at these… So are the pickaxes…
The other tools are as well but they cant be mirrored so they dont have as much of an issue.
Here is a pack with all bossbars set with a different type of border scaling each.
This also causes a LOT of z-fighting issues.
