I can confirm the problem. Also using Ubuntu 16.04 LTS, Java: 1.8.0. Given the seed -439728086 there's a buried treasure chest at 9 55 -951 which I can find in a newly generated world. In my world however (hosted on Realms for quite a while), there was no chest at that position.
