Steps to Reproduce: 1. Boot up the game in VR mode by following the official help article, linked here: https://help.minecraft.net/hc/en-us/articles/360057619052-Minecraft-in-Virtual-Reality 2. Go into any world and play for a while. 3. Keep attempting to mine blocks or attack mobs. Whether or not it happens to any given block or mob appears to be random.
Observed Results: Item switches from the one you had selected to a random one in the hotbar. The position can be far enough from what you were using that it can't possibly be the result of accidentally pressing one of the grip buttons.
Expected Results: Mining or attacking with the item that was already selected, instead of a random one from the hotbar.
